As requested by the Government, the cost to date of running diesel generators is $4.9 million. This is consistent with the original estimate of $11 million per 100 MW a month. Hydro Tasmania has been working positively with the Government, TasNetworks and suppliers to implement the Energy Supply Plan, including the rollout of temporary diesel generation.
