Project Update – Jan - March 2026 The complex, deep excavation work is largely done, and the new buttress can be seen rising in a staggered fashion along the length of the dam wall. The precast concrete wave wall panels have started to be moved into their permanent position. This will allow further placement of material around the panels and construction of a new concrete slab on the dam crest. Deliveries of buttress materials (sand, gravel and rock) are expected to be completed in May which will see a reduction in truck movements on Gordon River Road. Project update
