Meetings have been held with landowners and other stakeholders in the Derwent Valley to discuss planned maintenance on Meadowbank Dam, which will require the temporary lowering of Lake Meadowbank in 2022 and 2023.

Hydro Tasmania advises that only one formally recognised boat ramp remains open at Great Lake.
