I A Energy and specialist power and water consulting firm Entura today announced the conclusion of the 36 MW Chanju-I run-of-river hydropower project in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, India.

Hydro Tasmania and Marine and Safety Tasmania advise that low water levels have affected the availability of boat ramps at three lakes: Lake Echo, Lake King William and Woods Lake.

An update on the energy situation was provided on 12 February by Energy Minister Matthew Groom.

Specialist power and water consulting firm Entura and Tasmanian Irrigation won the Australian Engineering Excellence Awards (AEEA) Tasmania 2016 in the category ‘Control Systems, Networks, Information Processing and Telecommunications’ for the Meander Dam integrated water management system.

The new Hydro Tasmania Community Grant Program will offer six grants of up to $5,000 for not-for-profit community organisations.
