Project Update – Sep & Oct 2025 Over 90% of the project budget is being spent on services from businesses located in Tasmania, with the upgrade well underway and expected to be completed in the second half of 2026.The project is being carried out in partnership with our consulting arm Entura, with Tasmanian civil construction company Hall Earthmoving contracted to carry out the majority of the upgrade works. Project Update – Nov & Dec 2025 Despite the wet-weather challenges, work continues in earnest with rock and gravel layers added to three 50 m sections, with a fourth section's excavation stage nearing completion. Initially the layers (the buttress) will be constructed to half height along its full length, before raising it to the dam crest level. Project update
Project update - October The site has advantages of being less than 10-minute drive to site, suitable size and flat terrain, potential to minimise visual impact and easy access off Cradle Mountain Road.Thanks to everyone in the community who has shared their feedback.
