Tarraleah

Thanks for chatting to us!

Update 13 May, 2026
Thank you to everyone who came to chat to us about Tarraleah’s Environmental Impact Statement.

We had great conversations with about 80 people – about the future of the golf course and power station, water level changes, access to recreation areas and future opportunities for local communities.

Thanks also to the local businesses who helped get the word out about our drop-ins!

The EIS is on exhibition until 25 May. It explains how the project could affect the environment, people and nearby communities, and how impacts will be managed.

Also on exhibition is the Development Application, which describes the project, where it will be built, and seeks approval from Central Highlands Council.

The documents are all available from our project page.

Or you can visit the Council chambers at Bothwell and Hamilton.
