Key points:

  • Water storage is currently at 13.4 per cent, a reduction of 0.2 per cent from this time last week.
  • Inflows and wind production were down for the week.  Storages have been supported by the additional generation coming online and load reductions from major industrial users.
  • Lake Gordon water levels rose last week by 0.1 per cent to 6.1 per cent.
  • Great Lake water levels reduced by 0.4 per cent to 10.8 per cent.
  • Over 100MW of diesel generation has already been installed.  Work continues on installing additional generation to reach 200MW by the end of April.
  • Three 25MW dual fuel diesel/gas units are being installed at Bell Bay, and are expected to be operational in May.
  • Repair on the Basslink cable continues, with Basslink advising a return to service by mid-June.
