Tarraleah Power Station open day

Come on a guided tour of Tarraleah Power Station, and see how we generate water from the Nive River into electricity.

Located two hours north-west of Hobart, the Tarraleah Power Station was commissioned over 13 years, with machine numbers 1, 2 and 3 coming online in 1938 and numbers 4, 5 and 6 between 1943 and 1951.
