The Hydro Tasmania Three Peaks Race is a major annual event on the Tasmanian sporting calendar. A unique event involving sailing and running endurance, it showcases our State and our business to a wide audience. The race relies on the forces of the Roaring Forties providing a great reflection of our business which is built from nature’s elements of wind and water and the abilities of our people.

Surf Lifesaving Tasmania
The Hydro Tasmania Surf Skills Camps and Junior Lifesaver of the Year programs are designed to support the development of our youth, not just by providing Lifesaving skills, but also by providing skills that can be transferred to all aspects of life
In 2005 our partnership was recognised with the Education, Development and Training Award at the Sport and Recreation Industry awards.
Hydro Tasmania and Surf Lifesaving Tasmania are aiming to strengthen their strong partnership through activities in 2007 – The National Year of the Surf Lifesaver.
