Young Professionals Network of Tasmania
The Young Professionals Network Tasmania (YPNT) is an innovative not-for-profit group that aims to retain, develop and enhance Tasmania’s young professional community via a strategic networking forum.
Launched in early 2006, YPNT brings together young professionals in a variety of fields including engineering, surveying, architecture, accounting, environmental science and cultural heritage management.
Hydro Tasmania is proud to be associated with this new initiative encouraging young people to develop networks and share knowledge across their respective professions with a view to retaining much needed skills in the Tasmanian community.
Launceston Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards
The Launceston Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards foster a celebration of excellence across all areas of business and industry in Northern Tasmania. Hydro Tasmania has sponsored the Emerging Industry/New Business Award category since 2004. Through this association, we are helping to support the economic and social wellbeing of our communities and reflecting our desire to create a sustainable future for Tasmanian businesses.
Tasmanian Enterprise Workshop
The Tasmanian Enterprise Workshop promotes business generation, sustainability and growth. A robust business training program, the workshop has been supported by Hydro Tasmania for a number of years both through financial support and employee participation.
