Hydrogen - The science behind it
Hydrogen (H2) is the most abundant (and the lightest) element in the known universe.
The hydrogen atom is the simplest building block of all molecules.
In its normal gaseous state, hydrogen is colourless, odourless and tasteless.
Hydrogen Molecule H2
Composed of one positively charged proton and one negatively charged electron, two hydrogen atoms share electrons to form the molecule H2
Despite its abundance, hydrogen rarely occurs in its free form. It is usually combined or bound up with other chemical compounds like water (H2O) or methane CH4(natural gas)

A British scientist named Henry Cavendish, demonstrated in 1776 that hydrogen was developed as a by-product of the action of sulphuric acid on metals!
