Visitor centre has been moved from dam site back to the chalet in the village.

As of 1 July 2009, the Lake Pedder Chalet will move into a Care and Maintenance operation and will no longer provide meals or accommodation to the general public.

Accommodation will be available to Hydro Tasmania staff and contractors working in the area. We are also very pleased to advise that Dan Linnell has been appointed as the Care & Maintenance Manager for the Chalet under the new operation and will be the contact for all accommodation bookings for staff and contractors (ph 62801166).
