Apprentices
Hydro Tasmania has an in-house apprenticeship program to help develop skills in the technical areas which our business needs.
Our apprenticeships will provide you with the unique experience of working on some amazing equipment – power stations, dams, canals, pipelines and tunnels will await you in your career at Hydro Tasmania. You would be conducting a range of activities from refurbishment to operational tasks.
You will also be supported across the organisation, with guidance from great mentors, support from fellow staff and central support from our Human Resources team.
Upon completion of the apprenticeship program you will be given further opportunities to develop your career at Hydro Tasmania. Further training is also available through the extensive GenTech (Generation Technician) program.
