Hydro Tasmania 2005 annual report attracts two PICAs
The Hydro Tasmania 2005 Annual Report was awarded two gold awards from the Tasmanian Printing Industry Craftsmanship Awards (PICA) on Saturday night. The awards were in the design and printing categories.
Hydro Tasmania Public Relations Manager Ian Colvin said the success in the PICA Awards followed the Energy Supply Association of Australia’s expert independent panel judging the report the best Sustainability Report for 2005.
“Our commitment to sustainability has seen us move to more transparent reporting on our activities and broader reporting on the social, environmental and economic aspects of our business,” Mr Colvin said.
“Our success in achieving this was highlighted with the ESAA’s Best Sustainability Report award earlier this year and now with two PICA awards.
“The design and printing processes involved in producing the annual report are very important in ensuring the useability of the report and ease of access to information.
“The PICA awards are a significant recognition of the immense amount of work that goes into producing such a document. It was a great team effort and I would like to congratulate our people and our graphic designers Digital Ink and the Printing Authority of Tasmania for their contributions.”
The PICA award entries are judged nationally by industry peers.
